Short description in English: srt4fb is a small tool that makes sure that subtitle files in the .srt format are encoded in the right way (UTF-8 without a Byte Order Mark) so you can readily upload them to Facebook for subtitling your Facebook videos. Moreover, it renames the files (if necessary) to contain the language code in the filename, as required by Facebook.
srt4fb ist ein Tool, das .SRT-Untertiteldateien zuverlässig in ein von Facebook akzeptiertes Format konvertiert. Es stellt sicher, dass das Text-Encoding stimmt (UTF-8 ohne BOM) und dass der Dateiname die verwendete Sprache im ISO-Format (z.B. de_DE) enthält.
Das Interface ist extrem einfach gestaltet und – es basiert vollständig auf Drag&Drop, weitere Einstellungen oder Aktionen sind nicht nötig. Einfach die SRT-Datei auf das Fenster ziehen, und sie wird umgewandelt und ggf. umbenannt.
Das Tool ist Freeware für den nichtkommerziellen Gebrauch – für andere Anwendungsfälle würde ich mich über eine Kontaktaufnahme freuen. Weitere Infos siehe beigelegte readme.txt und license.txt.
